A knight of St. Michael
Are the Knights of St. Michael a modern day Templar? In name, no. In spirit, yes. We are not directly, or indirectly related to the Knights Templar, ancient rite or the modern day Templi Ordi. We do however, have a great deal in common. We were both started because there was a real need for a warrior monk in the 11th century as there is a real need today for a group with a warrior mindset and a spiritual base.
