Temple Lodge No. 14 Temple Lodge No. 14 is located right in the heart of the Wine Country north of San Francisco. We are one of the oldest Blue Lodges in California. In fact, Freemasons played a very visible role in the Bear Flag Revolt that took place in our historic town. The Bear Flag Revolt is California's version of the "Boston Tea Party" and this historic event directly led to statehood. Our first Lodge Secretary also became a Civil War General and Governor of California. Retired 5-Star General Hap Arnold retired to our town following World War II and he attended our lodge.
