Edwardian 1914 Chatelaine Snuff Box

from Saladin Shrine Temple, Grand Rapids

Measurements: 1 5/8" across. It reads 1914 Saladin Temple, Grand Rapids. It seems to be made of brass. Excellent Edwardian design on back and sides. A beautifully depiction of Mason symbols on the front. The hinge works just fine and it "snaps" Closed. It does have wear marks on the top edges from coming in and out of pockets. Theirs is an indention in the top- looks to be intended, but I am not sure. The condition is very good overall for its age. Some wear on front and some age spots on the inside.

A special "Thank You" to Brother Fred Lowstetter for submitting the pictures and description of this beautiful snuff box!
