Masonic Book Fob

from the Collection of Wor. Bro. Paul McEvoy

Some of the other items found on this watch chain are the Monster size Invert ball 9ct gold and silver interior that weighs 16grams and is about 21mm diameter.  Square and compass working compass 9ct.   Maul Fob 9ct gold and silver.  Pyramid fob 9ct gold and silver.  The item on the end is a very rare 3 color Sampson Mordan Triple pencil. 9ct gold dates to around 1880-1890 that is not Masonic but the right thing to add to the end, it fits in with the other bits and bobs.  If you look very closely at the top it also has a PMC for my initials, that came of an old broken Past Master Councilor jewel.

This miniature book fob is 21 mm high x 20mm wide when closed, all the pages and the book itself are all solid 9ct  rose gold.  It has a patent no to the rear 130568.  The photos of the book open were taken courtesy of Dean at Middleton Masonic Antiques.   The Maker was Joseph Woolfson, Glasgow, Scotland.  Patent Number 130,568. Description: Woolfson, J. April 3, 1919. Badges. - A Masonic pendant of gold, silver, or the like has the form of the volume of the Masonic laws.
