Here is an octagonal medallion embossed on the front SILVER JUBILEE (on banner) / SEPT.29.1916 / DENVER COLORADO / HIGHLANDS LODGE NO.86 A.F.&A.M. around Square and Compass. Back embossed BROTHER and engraved BENJ.C.HILLIARD (on embossed scroll) / MASTER / 1901 (this piece belonged to the Worshipful Master himself) all within an ornately embossed acacia wreath. Produced with the highest level of craftsmanship and skill. Beautiful patina. Unmarked, but I'm sure its silver (you wouldn't have a Silver Jubilee and cast a pewter medallion). One of the best early western Masonic commemorative medals I've seen in a long time.
