This is one of the most ornate gold presentation cane handles I've ever seen.  It is dated September 30, 1898 and presented to "Rev. R.J. Mc Kee D.D. From Masonic Friends, Boston, PA." The cane and handle is very large, the handle measuring 1 1/4 inches thick by 4 1/2 inches long and 11/8 inches wide, and 2 inches high. This cane could support a large person over 400lb+ and is pretty with a great design. Mounted on a 1 1/4" ebony shaft which tapers to 3/4" and ends with an original 1 1/2" two part white metal and steel tip. This cane is all original and in good condition.
