Early Masonic Knights Templar Dirk

Here is an early Masonic Knights Templar dirk (Dagger), circa 1890, seldom seen and rare compared to the sword.  Blade marked: Ames/ Sword /Co./Chicopee/Mass. Gold washed etched blade with owners name “A. ?. Powell” Silver-plated scabbard & cross-guard.   5 5/8 inch blade, 10 ¼ inches overall.   A real gem.  For a nearly exact one see: “The Ames Sword Company 1829-1935” by John D. Hamilton.
