This unusual piece of Masonic Trenchart is from WWI and is the spent casing of a 75 mm artillery shell.  It was hand hammered, heated and worked into shape by the fellow who signed and dated it "Morgan Oct. 4th, 1918".  It also names his Masonic Lodge "Star King Lodge - Salem, Mass."  It stands 14 inches tall.
