This unusual coin was used by "Fat Belly Shriners" snuggled up to the bar at their Oasis Lounge to decide who was going to pay for the next round of drinks.  This coin was spun on the bar with the "Dot in the center" face down and as the coin was spinning round and round (a good spin will go for a couple of minutes) the Shriners would take side bets on who was going to be the loser!  When the coin stopped spinning and if the arrow pointed at you then you were buying the next round of drinks!  This spin coin was produced by the San Gabriel Valley Shrine Club and given to their members with their "Compliments" in 1950.
