1892 Figural Shrine Spoon depicting

  Here is a one-of-a-kind spoon specifically 
  designed in 1892 for the Shrine of North America by Jacob C. Schmidt of 
  Reading, PA.  It depicts a figural handle with a camel sitting on the top 
  of a scimitar and the pharaoh, claws and star in the bowl.  Jacob Schmidt 
  was awarded Design Patent No. 21,540 by the U. S. Govt. dated May 17, 1892.  
  The makers mark is believed to be that of George E. Homer of Boston, MA.
