Vintage Syrian Shrine Temple

Donation Can /TAX STAMPS

This is a depression era donation can that was used to collect "not necessarily money" but tax stamps for Shriner's Children Hospitals.  On the top it says "TAX STAMPS".   On front "For The SHRINE HOSPITALS FOR CRIPPLED CHILDREN".   On each side is the large Shrine of North America logo w/"SYRIAN" (the name of the collecting Temple) below it.  In the can I found 4 Ohio Tax Stamps.    It measures 5 7/8" high x 4 1/4" wide.
